The Church is larger than any one church or any one community. If the Kingdom of God is going to be made known in our city and neighborhoods it’s going to take a diversity of voices, a diversity of communities and it’s going to take more than just our little church. That’s why we love our church partnerships in the city and work hard to cultivate opportunities to support and celebrate the work of other churches in the city!
Labor Day Weekend we have an opportunity to come together with South End Neighborhood Church and Iglesia Communidad to worship together in a beautiful park just across the street from our normal gathering spot! This will be an awesome time of hearing from each community, singing together, and praying for our city/neighborhood.
Here are the details you need to know:
Park: Franklin Square Park
Address: 1 E Brookline St, Boston MA
Gathering Time: 10:30AM
What about kids?: We will have activity bags for all kids and the gathering will be family friendly!
Things you need: Blanket or lawn chair (an extra one for a friend who may not have one)
Rain contingency: As of right now it’s not supposed to start raining until the afternoon but if that changes we will meet at South End Neighborhood Church’s building at 2 San Juan St, directly behind our usual meeting spot of Blackstone Community Center.
We really hope you can join us! We are so excited for these continually growing partnerships and the work God is doing in our community and in our neighborhood!
